Biblical poetry audiobooks

Energeia has published five audiobooks of Biblical poetry. In the times of the immigrant phenomenon, many Europeans have questions about culture and the identity of the old continent. It is no doubt that the Bible belongs to the foundations of western civilization.

But these audiobooks of Biblical poetry are not only a contribution to the general discussion. Their content is about love, the meaning of life, suffering, spirituality and wisdom. All these topics are deeply human, regardless of where someone lives and what culture he or she comes from.

The script is based on the paraphrase written by Daniel Raus. The text is in modern language, making it easy for the listener to concentrate. The original music is composed by Hubert Bittman (2009 Grammy Award winner), the recording is directed by Lukáš Hlavica and a number of very well known Czech actors are featured in it.

The book of Job with the subtitle "Man judges God" was published as the first one, then followed Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Psalms and Proverbs.
